This TAP intercepts the Topfield’s shutdown command and informs the other TAPs about the planned shutdown. The other TAPs now can save their data onto the hard drive or perform other tasks. It is even possible to temporarily cancel the shutdown to carry out a longer job. In this case, it is up to the canceller to reinitiate the shutdown at a later time. In addition, the SDS displays a dialog, when a user presses the standby button while a recording is running. In contrast to the original Topfield dialog, SDS does not allow to stop the recording, so an accidental interruption is not possible. A startup channel and volume may be configured via the configuration file. Users with a TF5500 VFD will get status information about the current shutdown state.

CutFile splits a file at the bookmark positions. If these bookmarks have been placed (accurately) by AccurateBM then this will have the effect of cutting the programmes out of a single .rec file into their own .rec files (i.e. de-merging the merged recordings that might be produced by various TAPs). If the bookmarks aren't very accurate then you can adjust them using the native Toppy playback search bar and the Green and Yellow buttons. To make best use of the cutter you'll need the v3.8l6 or newer of DX's mei2archive (at time of writing, this is the test version) -- this will ensure that the cut parts have nice names and the header is filled in with the right programme. Alternatively (or if you select the file using the Play button) the cuts parts will be named "CUT_XYZ.N.rec", where XYZ is a combination of the channel name and the start time of the original recording and N is a sequence number. In all cases, however, the first part (usually the pre-padding) will not be renamed and the description will not be adjusted. This is partly because those will most likely be roughly correct, but primarily so that the JoinFile can put everything back to how it was before. The names of the other files that are produced are briefly displayed during cutting, and can also be found in FILE.cut, where FILE is the original filename. This file is required by: JoinFile reverses the actions of CutFile, using the .cut file that it produces. It checks the contents of the parts and will not join arbitrary files. (If successful, the .cut file is deleted.) CutAds is a little bit like CutFile but in this case the each pair of bookmarks should mark the start and end of a section of the programme, so the first bookmark should be placed at the start of the programme. The ads are cut from the file into a FILE-ADS.rec file, where FILE is the original filename -- this should be a fairly small file and is probably best deleted (it's not done automatically in case the bookmarks had been placed incorrectly). This change is bookmark-accurate and destructive (cannot be reversed), so take care. Most importantly: make sure you have the first bookmark at the start of the programme (this may not be placed by AccurateBM if your pre-padding is not long enough to include ITV's idea of the programme "start", which is often at the end of the preceding programme).
JoinAds reverses the actions of CutAds, using the .ads file that it produces. (If successful, the .ads file is deleted.)

Media Manager is a TAP which has 3 components:
Photo Manager allows you to view JPEG images on Topfield. You can start a slideshow manually, or automatically whenever you switch to a radio channel or play an MP3. Recent functionality includes several Screensaver modes which can be used while listening to music.
Music Manager allows you to play MP3s. Various play modes allow music to be played randomly or sequentially, either a single folder (album) at a time or including all subfolders too. The Music Manager can be used in conjunction with the Photo Manager to provide flexible album art modes.
Video Manager allows you to play video recordings. It can be configured to create thumbnails and scenes of the video to give a DVD like presentation. Videos can also be moved, renamed or deleted.
Some changes since 1.4: - Switchable fonts.
- Multiple delete and move.

This Topfield TAP is an attempt to stop some component display problems that some TVs seem to have with the Topfield.
The symptoms of the problem are a display that twitches or jumps or loses sync on component output (especially with PIP on) but works fine with composite or s-video. With the problem starting when the Toppy has been on a teletext channel (like Seven in Australia) since being in standby.

Moves files to the directory, which has the same name as the recording. Handy for automatically moving eg. series under series own directory. For example "Yes minister 2005-05-05.rec" would be moved to a directory "/Datafiles/Yes minister" or "/Datafiles/series/Yes minister". There is also list of the 30 last moved files.
Changes: Automove Version 1.9 beta 2 =========================== -Bug fix for 3PG's description separator, the soft/discretionary hyphen -The character that separates the description must be configured -In the configuration, option 1, help text, you can see the time and duration of the last run
Automove Version 1.9 beta 1 =========================== -Now Automove also can cope with "Lost - Episode 15.rec" oder "Lost ~ Episode 15.rec" by recognizing the characters - and ~. This also works for History Move. Users of 3PG or Stirf can now use Follow Me again. -Automove now ignores all files "3PG*.rec". These files are used for 3PG's recorder scan. -Automove now has got TAPCOM support for RecCopy TAP. If switched on Automove only moves files that recordings from encrypted channels are only moved after RecCopy has scanned it for errors. At least RecCopy 4.1 is needed. Daylight saving time (DST) changes, can cause problems when creating timers before the DST change actually has happened. For example, if the DST switches to winter time this Sunday, the 18 o'clock program of next week, will currently appear in the EPG at 19 o'clock. When you try to record it, you will get the wrong program instead. If you reload the EPG on Sunday, it has moved back to 18 o'clock, but your timer will still be set at 19 o'clock. With this TAP, 18 o'clock of next week, will appear in the EPG at 18 o'clock, both before and after Sunday.

Eliminates the aspect option that isn't required for your TV type when toggling with the zero key. So for 4:3 TVs, it will cycle thru Letterbox and Centre Cut, for 16:9 TVs it will cycle between 16:9 and Centre Cut, using the "0" key on the remote. TAP has also the option to get rid of those white VBI signalling lines above and below the image when viewing 16:9 in 4:3 letterbox mode.
