Topfield creates Personal Video Recorders (PVR), which can be used to receive and record digital television channels. Also music (MP3) can be listened with Topfield products. Topfield features can be enhanced and corrected with TAPs (Topfield Application Programs). It is for example possible to watch digital camera images (e.g. jpg) and timers can be created automatically by search words using TAPs. It is also possible to correct bugs with 3rd party patches. This site lists all TAPs and patches developed for Topfield.

Sometimes, usually if using paddings, Topfield may store description from a previous program into recorded program 's description. Mei2archive allows you to examine the descriptions in recordings and if desired, change them using the information from the MEI file or Topfield's internal EPG. Can also change descriptions automatically when recordings end.

Problems with diacritics
mei2archive doesn't handle diacritics correctly. I live in Czech Republic and we do have diacritics... even in EPG...

Can't download fro geocities
Hello. For some reason I cannot view pages on 'geocities.com' on my pc. I have used different web browsers, and still get the same problem. I hope the page are working ok. i have windows xp professional edition with all the latest updates from microsoft. Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance.

This is working very well
I have used mei2archive in automatic mode with Toppy's own EPG data many months now and it has got correct description for every recorded program! Now I am using it with MEI data, which I get from eit2mei and it is again working perfectly. 
 
New versions have genre support, which I have disabled from ini using 'EnableGenre=0'.
