Topfield creates Personal Video Recorders (PVR), which can be used to receive and record digital television channels. Also music (MP3) can be listened with Topfield products. Topfield features can be enhanced and corrected with TAPs (Topfield Application Programs). It is for example possible to watch digital camera images (e.g. jpg) and timers can be created automatically by search words using TAPs. It is also possible to correct bugs with 3rd party patches. This site lists all TAPs and patches developed for Topfield.

Replacement for Topfield's default infobox. Displays the current and the next program, the remaining time of the program and additional information about the program (supports Description Extender also) .  It's possible to scroll programs forward/backward. Information displayed during playback also, and if theprogram is being recorded at the same time.

Changes since 1.7:

  • Support for Description Extender patch.

 Changes since 1.6:

  • Zero changes screen aspect ratio again
  • Support for Font Manager
  • Volume handling can be disabled from .ini file (this time for real)
  • Custom buttons for handling volume (to be used with Remote Extender)

Changes since 1.5:

  • Some messy code rewritten
  • Logos are checked also with the actual channel name (earlier only with special characters stripped)
  • Remote Extender support integrated into normal version. Some of you might have to create separate .ini file for it, because I don't know the exact key codes.
  • Quick Change tap integrated into Info Viewer to help usage of ExitNormal version. Can be disabled from .ini file

Simple & nice infobox tap
Tries to be a simple infobox tap without all fancy bells and whistles. Displays 2 programs at the time and remaining time of current program. It's possible to scroll programs forward / backward. Second press of i button displays detailed information about the first program (supports also DescriptionExtender). Shows also some information in playback mode (stored program / during recording / mp3).

Working fine
Nice and clear display. Just what I was looking for. Remaining time progressbar is big plus. Also current/next program quick info is what I was missing.
