This is not really a web browser as we have seen in computers, although it could be close to a simple one. Basically this is a local hypertext browser, with support for multimedia. This TAP can show large pictures in detail and handle links. Web links can be used as short cut with your computer.
How NotWebBrowser could be used:
- Topfield user manuals, TAP guides, readme files...
- Manuals or tips and tricks to other gadgets
- Lists of recordings like CD, DVD, DivX, MP3, tapes...
- Interested hobby pages could be studied during commercials
- Cooking recipes if your Topfield is in kitchen
- Travel locations, your dictionary, phrases as text and audio
- Your home videos, binding it all together pictures, maps, texts
- And so on...

This TAP turns your TV into a virtual aquarium. Actually, it draws a few goldfish on a black background after a period of inactivity. They swim around a bit. It'll start after a configurable period of inactivity on paused TV, radio, mp3 playback, or a QuickBlank channel (LCNs 900-910). You can add more fish (up to 10) by pressing white and remove fish by pressing PIP Swap. Any other key exits the screensaver and will be passed to other lower priority TAPs, so for best results, place Goldfish.tap before your normal TAPs in the load order using TAP Commander. The TAP does some funky page flipping using both of the Toppy's hardware planes. In plain English, this means that interactive won't start until you've changed channel and that it my not be terribly happy on a Topfield's Masterpiece.
